Launch Party
We’ll have some refreshments, play some bike related pub games then ride home on our bikes together on quiet roads. Free food courtesy of The Spokes. Prizes kindly donated by Bicycle Boutique.

Thursday 24th May

The Spokes Open Bike Play
Come and have a go on our little green bikes. We’ll play some games and show you some tricks and moves. No previous dance experience necessary and we’ll provide the bike!

Hardcourt Bike Polo Beginner Session

Greater Manchester Cycling Campaign Social Ride to Fletcher Moss
Discover pleasant, low traffic routes out of the city, and visit places with scenic, cultural and historical interest. The ride will call at a pub for sustenance, liquid refreshments and plenty of cycling chat!

Friday 25th May

Bike Friday

Critical Mass
A ride around the city in protest to car culture, that happens on the last Friday of every month. Bring music, drinks, friends, lights…..
6pm, Meet Outside Central Library, departs approx 6.30pm

Saturday 26th May

Cyclotrash Bike Dash Alleycat
A Eurovision themed treasure hunt around the city on bikes, race in pairs. We have some amazing prizes, which have been generously donated by our sponsors! Prizes for best fancy dress, fastest, slowest, most points and more!

The Fixt Drift Eliminator

Sunday 27th May

Long country ride
A ride for more experienced road riders. 30 – 50 miles of rolling Cheshire country roads. Bring puncture repair kits, refreshments, lights, tools and waterproofs.
10.30am for 11am ride, Meet at the Four Banks junction, Chorlton, M21 0NW

The Gabardine (No, not Tweed) Ride
A genteel paced ride – well one could not possibly sweat, could one? Dress in suitable attire.
1-4pm, Manchester Town Hall, 2 Albert Square, M60 2JT

Post Ride Pint
All Sunday rides will terminate by 4pm. If you can’t make a ride, come and meet us for a pint!

Monday 28th May

Film Night
It’s your choice, as we will be having a vote for which film we watch. We have a couple of bike-themed films, which will be announced soon. Come along and bring your (loudest) mates to make sure the film you want to watch is screened!

Tuesday 29th May

Moonlight Ride
A 30-mile evening road ride to Dunham Massey and back. Bring lights and puncture repair kit. We will stop mid-way for some refreshment.

Wednesday 30th May

Festival Close and Awards Ceremony
More fun and games to close NWVF. Prizes and awards for stand out festival goers.
